Uttara Bhāga · Karmic Consequences and Restoration (Prāyaścitta Outcome)

एक जनम में वो अंधा होता है, एक में चूहा। लेकिन जब इसका मुक्ति होता है, तो वो अच्छे घर में पैदा होता है। बड़े घर में पैदा होने का मतलब है उसके पाप साफ हो गए।
Varāha
Karmic descent is real, yet dharma and expiation can reverse trajectory; ‘tāraṇa’ implies possibility of liberation/uplift beyond prior faults.
Do not despair after wrongdoing; undertake prescribed prāyaścitta with sincerity, reform conduct, and seek devotion-oriented purification.
Even after painful and low rebirths (blindness, mouse-birth), one can be ‘delivered from saṃsāra’ and regain auspicious birth through efficacious expiation/rite.
Negligence (implied): suffering and low births; successful expiation/turn to dharma: release from saṃsāric bondage and birth in a noble family (as a sign of uplift).
Varāha Purāṇa 136.113 (low births); Varāha Purāṇa 136.115 (promise to teach prāyaścitta)
It juxtaposes negative karmic results with the possibility of reversal through deliverance, reflecting Purāṇic synthesis of moral causality and redemptive frameworks.

Moral failure is depicted as producing suffering, but corrective paths (implied by the surrounding prāyaścitta context) are presented as enabling restoration.
