दध्याहारो दिनत्रय्यां पायसेन दिनत्रयम् ॥ वाय्वाहारो दिनत्रय्यां स्नानं कृत्वा दृढव्रतः ॥
dadhyāhāro dina-trayyāṁ pāyasena dina-trayam || vāyvāhāro dina-trayyāṁ snānaṁ kṛtvā dṛḍha-vrataḥ ||
फिर तीन दिन दही खाओ। फिर तीन दिन खीर खाओ। फिर तीन दिन कुछ नहीं खाओ, बस साँस चलो। नहाने के बाद यह व्रत पक्के से रखना।
