Description of the Brāhmaṇa Initiation Procedure
Dīkṣā-sūtra
mantraḥ— akṛtaghne devānasurākṛtaghnarudreṇa brāhmaṇāya ca labdhaṃ sarvam imāṃ bhagavate’stu dattaṃ pratigṛhṇīṣva ca lokanātha ||
Varāha (default instructor voice; mantra citation)
It exemplifies Purāṇic mantra-embedding: short liturgical formulae are preserved within instructional prose/verse, useful for reconstructing ritual idioms and donation language.
No location is named; the verse is a mantra addressed to a universalized deity-title, 'Lokanātha'.
The ethical emphasis is on dedicating gains as an offering and on the reciprocal recognition of giving and acceptance within a ritual economy.
