Varāha (instructional continuation)
It signals an etiological (origin) narrative about a place-name and its tīrtha status, a key method by which Purāṇas encode and transmit cultural geography.
Kubjāmraka is named as the focus of an origin account; the tīrtha is to be described subsequently in the narrative sequence.
The text foregrounds truthful, complete instruction (tattvena, kārtsnyena), presenting knowledge transmission as careful and ordered.
