Varāha
Receptive, seeking liberation-guidance
What seasonal worship leads beyond repeated birth and death to attain Bhagavān’s world?
Seasonal arcana as a means to weaken saṃsāra and orient the jīva toward the Lord’s abode.
Adopt a disciplined, season-aware worship routine with liberation as the explicit intention (saṅkalpa).
Varāha directly instructs Pṛthivī to perform seasonal worship aimed at transcending birth and death and attaining his loka.
In gṛīṣma (summer), perform worship of Varāha/Viṣṇu to secure freedom from punarjanma and attain his loka.
Observance yields mokṣa-oriented fruit (cessation of repeated birth/death) and access to the Lord’s realm; neglect implies continued saṃsāric return.
Attainment of ‘mama loka’.
Varāha Purāṇa 124.45–47 (continuation: other seasons, materials, mantra)
It exemplifies how Purāṇic texts connect ritual observance with broader soteriological aims, framing worship as a disciplined path toward liberation.
No geographic location is specified; “mama loke” is a cosmological/otherworldly destination rather than a terrestrial site.
Consistent seasonal worship is recommended as a disciplined practice oriented toward reducing cyclic existence (birth and death).
