Varāha/Nārāyaṇa
Enumerations of divine groups (Ādityas, Vasus, Rudras) are a hallmark of Purāṇic cosmology and help map the text’s mythic social order.
No terrestrial location is specified; the verse contrasts “here” with “divaḥ” (heaven), a cosmological rather than geographic reference.
A theme of respectful witnessing emerges: significant restorative acts are presented as communal events acknowledged by multiple stakeholders.
