पञ्चमी बहुवर्णा स्यात्षष्ठी च श्वेतपिङ्गला ॥ सप्तमी श्वेतपिङ्गाक्षी त्वष्टमी कृष्णपिङ्गला ॥
pañcamī bahuvarṇā syāt ṣaṣṭhī ca śvetapiṅgalā || saptamī śvetapiṅgākṣī tvaṣṭamī kṛṣṇapiṅgalā ||
पाँचवी गाय कई रंगों वाली होती है। छठी सफेद और पीली मिला-जुली होती है। सातवी सफेद-पीली आँखों वाली होती है। आठवीं काली और पीली मिला-जुली होती है।
