ब्राह्मणाय दरिद्राय श्रोत्रियायाहिताग्नये ॥ आर्यावर्त्ते समुत्पन्ने वेदवेदाङ्गपारगे ॥
brāhmaṇāya daridrāya śrotriyāyāhitāgnaye || āryāvarte samutpanne vedavedāṅgapārage ||
यह दान एक गरीब ब्राह्मण को देना चाहिए जो वेद जानता है और अग्नि संभाल के रखता है। वो आर्यावर्त में पैदा हुआ हो और वेद और उसके सारे हिस्से में एक्सपर्ट हो।
