Tripura Upanishad 3: Verse 3
एका सा आसीत् प्रथमा सा नवासीदासो नवविंशादासो नत्रिंशत् । चत्वारिंशादथ तिस्रः समिधा उशतीरिव मातरो मा विशन्तु ॥३॥
एकाः । सा । आसीत् । प्रथमा । सा । नव । आसीत् । आसः । नव-विंशात् । आसः । न-त्रिंशत् । चत्वारिंशात् । अथ । तिस्रः । समिधाः । उशतीः-इव । मातरः । मा । विशन्तु ॥३॥
ekā sā āsīt prathamā sā nava āsīd āso navaviṃśād āso natriṃśat | catvāriṃśād atha tisraḥ samidhā uśatīr iva mātaro mā viśantu ||3||
पहले वो एक थी। फिर नौ बन गई। नौ से उन्नीस बन गई। उन्नीस से तीस बन गई। तीस से चालीस बन गई। अब तीन लकड़ियाँ जो माँ जैसी प्यार करती हैं, मेरे अंदर आएँ।
She was one at first; she became nine; from nine she became nineteen; from nineteen she became thirty; from thirty she became forty. Then may the three kindling-sticks, like desiring mothers, enter into me.
