Sanyasa Upanishad 31: Verse 31
जडया कर्णशष्कुल्या कल्पमानक्षणस्थया ॥ शून्याकृतिः शून्यभवः शब्दो नाहमचेतनः ॥३१॥
जडया कर्ण-शष्कुल्या कल्पमान-क्षण-स्थया । शून्य-आकृतिः शून्य-भवः शब्दः न अहम् अचेतनः ।
jaḍayā karṇa-śaṣkulyā kalpamāna-kṣaṇa-sthayā || śūnyākṛtiḥ śūnya-bhavaḥ śabdo nāham acetanaḥ ||31||
कान तो एक सुनसान होल है जिसमें आवाज़ आती है। वो होल भी अभी है, अभी गायब। आवाज़ भी खाली है, कुछ भी नहीं। मैं उस आवाज़ जैसा नहीं हूँ जिसमें जान नहीं है।
Through the inert ear-cavity, which is imagined and momentary in its existence, sound—having an empty form and an empty mode of being—(is perceived); (therefore) I am not the insentient.
