Mudgala Upanishad: Verse 1.7
तं यज्ञमिति मन्त्रेण सृष्टियज्ञः समीरितः । अनेनैव च मन्त्रेण मोक्षश्च समुदीरितः ॥
तम् । यज्ञम् । इति । मन्त्रेण । सृष्टि-यज्ञः । समीरितः । अनेन । एव । च । मन्त्रेण । मोक्षः । च । समुदीरितः ॥
taṃ yajñam iti mantreṇa sṛṣṭi-yajñaḥ samīritaḥ | anenaiva ca mantreṇa mokṣaś ca samudīritaḥ ||
'तम् यज्ञम्' शब्द वाले मंत्र से भी यज्ञ की बात कह दी गई। दुनिया बनाने वाला यज्ञ यह है। और इसी मंत्र से मोक्ष की बात भी बता दी गई।
By the mantra (containing the words) “taṃ yajñam…,” the sacrifice that is creation is declared; and by this very mantra liberation too is proclaimed.
