Mudgala Upanishad: Verse 1.8
तस्मादिति च मन्त्रेण जगत्सृष्टिः समीरिता । वेदाहमिति मन्त्राभ्यां वैभवं कथितं हरेः ॥
तस्मात् । इति । च । मन्त्रेण । जगत्-सृष्टिः । समीरिता । वेद । अहम् । इति । मन्त्राभ्याम् । वैभवम् । कथितम् । हरेः ॥
tasmād iti ca mantreṇa jagat-sṛṣṭiḥ samīritā | veda aham iti mantrābhyāṃ vaibhavaṃ kathitaṃ hareḥ ||
'तस्मात्' से शुरू होने वाले मंत्र से दुनिया का बनना बताया गया। दो मंत्र हैं, एक 'वेद' से शुरू होता है और दूसरा 'अहम्' से। इन दोनों से हरि की महत्व का पता चलता है।
And by the mantra beginning “tasmād…,” the creation of the world is declared; by the two mantras (beginning) “veda” and “aham,” the majesty (vaibhava) of Hari is stated.
