Katha Upanishad 15: Verse 15
लोकादिमग्निं तमुवाच तस्मै या इष्टका यावतीर्वा यथा वा। स चापि तत्प्रत्यवदद्यथोक्तमथास्य मृत्युः पुनरेवाह तुष्टः ॥१५॥
लोकादिम् अग्निम् तम् उवाच तस्मै याः इष्टकाः यावतीः वा यथा वा। सः च अपि तत् प्रत्यवदत् यथा उक्तम् अथ अस्य मृत्युः पुनः एव आह तुष्टः ॥
lokādim agniṃ tam uvāca tasmai yā iṣṭakā yāvatīrvā yathā vā | sa cāpi tat pratyavadadyathoktamathāsya mṛtyuḥ punarevāha tuṣṭaḥ ||
मृत्यु ने उसे वो अग्नि सिखाई जो दुनिया की शुरुआत है। कितनी ईंट हैं, कितनी संख्या है, कैसे रखनी हैं, सब बताया। नचिकेता ने वही वैसे दोहराया। मृत्यु खुश हो गया और फिर से बोला।
He told him the fire that is the beginning of the worlds, what bricks there are, how many, and how they are arranged. And he (Nachiketa) repeated it exactly as it was told. Then Death, being pleased, spoke again to him.
