स सर्ववेत्ता भुवनस्य गोप्ता ताभिः प्रजानां निहिता जनानाम् । प्रोता त्वमोता विचितिः क्रमाणां प्रजापतिश्छन्दमयो विगर्भः ॥९॥

sa sarvavettā bhuvanasya goptā tābhiḥ prajānāṃ nihitā janānām | protaḥ tv amotaḥ vicitiḥ kramāṇāṃ prajāpatiś chandamayo vigarbhaḥ ||9||

Translation

वो सब कुछ जानता है और दुनिया की रक्षा करता है। उसकी शक्ति से लोग पैदा होते हैं और दुनिया में रहते हैं। वो सब में बुना हुआ है, सब से जुड़ा हुआ है, और सब का ऑर्डर फिक्स करता है। वो प्रजापति है, वेद के छंदों में बना हुआ, और गर्भ में एक अमेज़िंग शक्ति है।

Academic Translation

He is the all-knower, the protector of the world; by those (powers/means) the creatures of beings are established. He is woven (through all) and also interwoven; the discerning ordering of sequences. He is Prajāpati, constituted of meters (chandas), the one with the wondrous womb/embryo (vigarbha).

• Brahman as omniscient inner controller (antaryāmin), cosmic order (ṛta/krama), and the substratum ‘woven’ through all
• Mahavakya: Closest in spirit to ‘ahaṃ brahmāsmi’ (Bṛhadāraṇyaka 1.4.10) when internalized: the ‘woven-through’ all-knower is not merely external but the very Self; also supports ‘sarvaṃ khalv idaṃ brahma’ via the ‘warp-and-weft’ claim.
