Ekakshara Upanishad: Verse 8
स एष देवोऽम्बरगश्च चक्रे अन्येऽभ्यधिष्ठेत तमो निरुन्ध्यः । हिरण्मयं यस्य विभाति सर्वं व्योमान्तरे रश्मिमिवांशुनाभिः ॥८॥
सः । एषः । देवः । अम्बर-गः । च । चक्रे । अन्ये । अभि-अधिष्ठेत् । तमः । निरुन्ध्यः । हिरण्मयम् । यस्य । विभाति । सर्वम् । व्योम-अन्तरे । रश्मिम् । इव । अंशु-नाभिः ।
sa eṣa devo 'mbaragaś ca cakre anye 'bhyadhiṣṭheta tamo nirundhyaḥ | hiraṇmayaṃ yasya vibhāti sarvaṃ vyomāntare raśmim ivāṃśunābhiḥ ||8||
यह देवता आकाश में चलता है और सब कुछ कंट्रोल करता है। वो दूसरों के ऊपर है और अंधेरा रोकता है। उसकी वजह से सब कुछ चमकता है जैसे सोने जैसा हो। आकाश में वो चमकता है जैसे सूरज की किरण होती है।
This very deity, moving in the sky, has made (it so); he presides over others, restraining darkness. Golden is that by which all this shines—within the expanse of space—like a ray with its radiating spokes.
