Aditi indeed was born, O Dakṣa, as your daughter. The gods—auspicious, kin to immortality—begot her in succession. Desire is the womb; the ‘digit/portion’ of desire; the thunderbolt-bearer; the cave; laughter; Mātariśvan; the cloud; Indra; again the cave; the whole; by māyā; and again the sheaths; the Mother of the universe—(she is) in heaven, the luminous sky.
Use as nididhyāsana: trace experience from gross sheaths to subtle (prāṇa/mind) and rest in the heart-cave witness; cultivate śakti-bhāvanā where every sensation/thought is recognized as Devī’s manifestation, reducing fragmentation and supporting dhyāna.
