Atma Upanishad: Verse 23
तथैवोपाधिविलये ब्रह्मैव ब्रह्मवित्स्वयम् । क्षीरं क्षीरे यथा क्षिप्तं तैलं तैले जलं जले ॥२३॥
तथा । एव । उपाधि-विलये । ब्रह्म । एव । ब्रह्म-वित् । स्वयम् । क्षीरम् । क्षीरे । यथा । क्षिप्तम् । तैलम् । तैले । जलम् । जले ॥२३॥
tathaivopādhivilaye brahmaiva brahmavit svayam | kṣīraṃ kṣīre yathā kṣiptaṃ tailaṃ taile jalaṃ jale ||23||
जब उपाधियाँ डिसॉल्व हो जाती हैं, तब ब्रह्मा को जाननेवाला खुद ब्रह्मा बन जाता है। जैसे दूध में दूध डाल दो, तो वो एक हो जाता है। तेल में तेल डाल दो, वो भी एक हो जाता है। पानी में पानी डाल दो, वो भी एक हो जाता है। सब मिल कर एक बन जाता है।
So too, upon the dissolution of adjuncts, the knower of Brahman is himself Brahman alone; as milk (poured) into milk, oil into oil, water into water (becomes one).
