स्वात्मन्येव सदा स्थित्या मनो नश्यति योगिनः । युक्त्या श्रुत्या स्वानुभूत्या ज्ञात्वा सार्वात्म्यमात्मनः॥४॥
स्व-आत्मनि एव सदा स्थित्या मनः नश्यति योगिनः । युक्त्या श्रुत्या स्व-अनुभूत्या ज्ञात्वा सर्व-आत्म्यं आत्मनः ॥४॥
svātmany eva sadā sthityā mano naśyati yoginaḥ | yuktyā śrutyā svānubhūtyā jñātvā sarvātmyaṃ ātmanaḥ ||4||
जब योगी अपनी आत्मा में हमेशा रहता है, तो उसका मन शांत हो जाता है। सोच के, शास्त्र पढ़ के, और खुद अनुभव कर के वो जान लेता है कि वो सबकी आत्मा है।
By constant abiding in one’s own Self alone, the yogin’s mind is dissolved; having known—through reasoning, through scripture, and through one’s own direct experience—the Self’s all-pervasive identity (its being the Self of all).
