Sukta 8.23
दामानं विश्वचर्षणेऽग्निं विश्वमनो गिरा । उत स्तुषे विष्पर्धसो रथानाम् ॥
dāmā́naṃ viśva-carṣaṇe’gníṃ viśva-máno girā́ | utá stuṣe ví-spardhaso ráthānām ||
अग्नि सबको देता है, इसलिए मैं उसे पूरे दिल से बोल के प्रेज़ करता हूँ। मैं उसकी जय जय करता हूँ जो सबके लिए चीज़ें बाँटता है। और मैं उन रथों की भी प्रेज़ करता हूँ जो लड़ाई में तेज़ी से चलते हैं। यह रथ भगवान की शक्ति ले के आते हैं और रोशनी की लड़ाई में मदद करते हैं।
