Sukta 6.8
अदब्धेभिस्तव गोपाभिरिष्टेऽस्माकं पाहि त्रिषधस्थ सूरीन् । रक्षा च नो ददुषां शर्धो अग्ने वैश्वानर प्र च तारीः स्तवानः ॥
adábdhebhiḥ táva gopā́bhir iṣṭe 'smā́kaṃ pāhi tri-sádastha sūrī́n | rákṣā ca no dadúṣāṃ śárdho agne vaiśvā́nara prá ca tārīḥ stavā́naḥ ||
तुम्हारे रक्षक कभी हार नहीं मानते, तुम्हे सब चाहते हैं। हमारे जो बड़े लोग हैं उनकी रक्षा करो। तुम तीन जगह हो, उन्हे सेफ रखना। जो लोग देते हैं उनकी भी रक्षा करो। अग्नि, तुम्हारी स्तुति करके हम आगे बढ़ते हैं, दुश्मन पार करके।
