Sukta 6.48
पर्षि तोकं तनयं पर्तृभिष्ट्वमदब्धैरप्रयुत्वभिः । अग्ने हेळांसि दैव्या युयोधि नोऽदेवानि ह्वरांसि च ॥
párṣi tokáṃ tánayaṃ partṛ́bhiṣ tvám adabdháir áprayutvabhiḥ | agne héḷāṃsi daivyā́ yuyodhi no ’dévāni hvárāṃsi ca ||
हमारे बच्चों को और हमारी आने वाली पीढ़ी को साफ-साफ पहुँचा देना। तुम्हारी रक्षा कभी कम नहीं होती, कभी रुकती नहीं है। अग्नि, भगवान की तरफ से आने वाली तकलीफ हटा दो। जो बुरी ताकें देवताओं की नहीं हैं, उनको भी दूर कर दो।
