Sukta 6.4
द्यावो न यस्य पनयन्त्यभ्वं भासांसि वस्ते सूर्यो न शुक्रः । वि य इनोत्यजरः पावकोऽश्नस्य चिच्छिश्नथत्पूर्व्याणि ॥
dyā́vo na yásya panáyanty ábhvaṃ bhā́sāṃsi vaste sū́ryo na śukráḥ | ví ya inóty ájaraḥ pāvakó 'śnásya cic chiśnathat pū́rvyāṇi ||
जैसे आसमान उसकी बड़ी हैसियत को देखते हैं, वैसे ही वो अपनी चमक दिखाता है, सूरज की तरह चमकदार। यह अग्नि कभी बुढ्ढा नहीं होता, वो सब साफ करता है। वो पुरानी बड़ी मुश्किल को भी तोड़ देता है।
