पौरं चिद्ध्युदप्रुतं पौर पौराय जिन्वथः । यदीं गृभीततातये सिंहमिव द्रुहस्पदे ॥
Transliteration
pauráṃ cíd dhy udaprútam paura paurā́ya jínvathaḥ | yád īṃ gṛbhītá-tātaye siṃhám iva drúhaḥ padé ||
Translation
जो कोई शहर का है, पानी में डूब रहा हो, तुम उसको ताकत देते हो। जब कोई दुश्मन उसको पकड़ ले, तुम उसको आज़ाद करते हो जैसे शेर को धोखेबाज़ के फ़ाँद से बचा लो।
