हिरण्यदन्तं शुचिवर्णमारात्क्षेत्रादपश्यमायुधा मिमानम् । ददानो अस्मा अमृतं विपृक्वत्किं मामनिन्द्राः कृणवन्ननुक्थाः ॥
hiraṇyá-dantaṃ śúci-varṇam ārā́t kṣétrād apaśyam ā́yudhā mimā́nam | dadā́nō asmai amṛ́taṃ vipṛ́kvat kíṃ mām anindrā́ḥ kṛṇavann anukthā́ḥ ||
मैंने उसे दूर से देखा खेत में। उसके दाँत सोना जैसे थे और वो बिल्कुल साफ था। वो अपने हथियार तैयार कर रहा था। वो अमृत देता है जो कभी खत्म नहीं होता। मेरे पास इंद्र नहीं है और स्तुति भी नहीं, फिर भी वो मुझे कुछ नहीं कर सकते।
