Sukta 4.58
अभि प्रवन्त समनेव योषाः कल्याण्यः स्मयमानासो अग्निम् । घृतस्य धाराः समिधो नसन्त ता जुषाणो हर्यति जातवेदाः ॥
abhí pravanta sámanā-iva yóṣāḥ kalyā́ṇyaḥ smáyamānāso agním | ghṛtásya dhā́rāḥ samídho nasanta tā́ juṣāṇó haryati jā́ta-vedāḥ ||
घी की धारें अग्नि की तरफ जा रही हैं। जैसे लड़कियाँ किसी मिलन में मुस्कुराती हुई आती हैं, वैसे ही ये धारें भी खुशी से आ रही हैं। ये धारें ऐसे हैं जैसे पूजा के लिए लकड़ियाँ। अग्नि उन्हें खुशी से अपने पास बुलाता है और उनसे प्रसन्न हो के ऊपर उठता है।
