Sukta 4.51
ता घा ता भद्रा उषसः पुरासुरभिष्टिद्युम्ना ऋतजातसत्याः । यास्वीजानः शशमान उक्थैः स्तुवञ्छंसन्द्रविणं सद्य आप ॥
tā ghā tā bhadrā uṣásaḥ purāsur abhiṣṭí-dyumnā ṛtajāta-satyāḥ | yāsu ījānáḥ śaśamāná ukthaíḥ stuváñ cháṃsan dráviṇaṃ sadyá āpa ||
पुराने ज़माने की बात है, तब भी उषाएँ बड़ी अच्छी थीं। उनमें चमक थी, वो सच थी और सही रास्ते से पैदा हुई थीं। जो लोग भगवान की पूजा करते थे, वो जाग कर उषाओं से धन पा लेते थे। उन्होंने शब्द से प्रार्थना की और उन्हें धन मिल गया।
