तद्वो दिवो दुहितरो विभातीरुप ब्रुव उषसो यज्ञकेतुः । वयं स्याम यशसो जनेषु तद्द्यौश्च धत्तां पृथिवी च देवी ॥
Transliteration
tád vo divo duhitaraḥ vibhātīr úpa bruve uṣaso yajñá-ketuḥ | vayáṃ syāma yaśáso jáneṣu tád dyáuś ca dhattāṃ pṛthivī́ ca devī́ ||
Translation
आकाश की चमकती बेटियाँ, मैं तुमसे यह कहता हूँ। सवेरे की रोशनी, तुम यज्ञ का साइन हो। हमें लोगों में नाम रोशन करने दो। आकाश और धरती हमारे लिए यह संभाल लें।
