Sukta 2.37
मेद्यन्तु ते वह्नयो येभिरीयसेऽरिषण्यन्वीळयस्वा वनस्पते । आयूया धृष्णो अभिगूर्या त्वं नेष्ट्रात्सोमं द्रविणोदः पिब ऋतुभिः ॥
médyantu te vahnayo yébhir ī́yase ’ríṣaṇyan vīḷayasva vanaspate | āyū́yā dhṛ́ṣṇo abhi-gū́ryā tváṃ neṣṭrā́t sómaṃ draviṇaḥ-daḥ píba ṛtú-bhiḥ ||
इस मंत्र में अग्नि से कह रहे हैं कि उसके रथ के घोड़े तैयार हों। वो अपने आप को नुकसान नहीं पहुँचा सकता, आगे बढ़ रहा है। अग्नि, जो लकड़ी का स्वामी है, वो हिम्मत के साथ पास आओ। सोम रस पीओ, जो धन देता है। यह सब रित के हिसाब से हो रहा है।
