ऋजुरिच्छंसो वनवद्वनुष्यतो देवयन्निददेवयन्तमभ्यसत् । सुप्रावीरिद्वनवत्पृत्सु दुष्टरं यज्वेदयज्योर्वि भजाति भोजनम् ॥
जो बात सीधी और सच होती है, वो आदमी के काम आती है। वो इंसान जो भगवान की तरफ जाना चाहता है, उसकी मदद करती है। और जो भगवान को नहीं मानता, उसको हिला देती है। मुश्किल लड़ाई में भी यह बात ताकत देती है। जो यज्ञ करता है, वो अपने लिए अच्छा खाना अलग कर लेता है।

यजस्व वीर प्र विहि मनायतो भद्रं मनः कृणुष्व वृत्रतूर्ये । हविष्कृणुष्व सुभगो यथाससि ब्रह्मणस्पतेरव आ वृणीमहे ॥
हे वीर, यज्ञ कर। अपना मन आगे बढ़ा। दुश्मन को तोड़ने के लिए मन को साफ और अच्छा बना। भगवान के लिए ऑफरिंग तैयार कर ताकि तू अच्छा रिज़ल्ट पा सके। ब्रह्मणस्पति की मदद हम माँग रहे हैं।

स इज्जनेन स विशा स जन्मना स पुत्रैर्वाजं भरते धना नृभिः । देवानां यः पितरमाविवासति श्रद्धामना हविषा ब्रह्मणस्पतिम् ॥
लोग उसका साथ देते हैं, समाज भी साथ देती है। बच्चे भी उसको ताकत देते हैं। जो ब्रह्मणस्पति को भगवान बाप मान के पूजा करता है, उसको सब मिलता है।

यो अस्मै हव्यैर्घृतवद्भिरविधत्प्र तं प्राचा नयति ब्रह्मणस्पतिः । उरुष्यतीमंहसो रक्षती रिषोंऽहोश्चिदस्मा उरुचक्रिरद्भुतः ॥
जो भगवान के लिए अच्छी ऑफरिंग देता है, ब्रह्मणस्पति उसको सही रास्ता दिखाते हैं। वो उसको बड़ा सेफ रखते हैं, दुख से बचाते हैं। जब भी मुश्किल आती है, वो उसको प्रोटेक्ट करते हैं। यह उनका काम कमाल का है।
