Sukta 10.89
शत्रूयन्तो अभि ये नस्ततस्रे महि व्राधन्त ओगणास इन्द्र । अन्धेनामित्रास्तमसा सचन्तां सुज्योतिषो अक्तवस्ताँ अभि ष्युः ॥
śatrūyánto abhí ye nas tatasré mahí vrā́dhanta ogaṇā́sa indra | andhéna amítrās támasā sacantāṃ su-jyótiṣo aktávas tā́n abhí syuḥ ||
जो लोग हमारे दुश्मन बन के फैल गए हैं, उन्होंने हम पर बहुत ज़ुल्म किया है। इंद्र, इन दुश्मनों को अंधेरे में डाल दे। उनकी आँखें बंद हो जाएं। और हमारे साथ जो भी अच्छी ताकतें हैं, वो उन पर भारी हो जाएं।
