देवियों ने पूरी दुनिया के लिए अग्नि को बनाया। उसका नाम विश्वानर है, जो दिन का निशान है। वो सुबह की रोशनी को फैलाता है। अपनी आग से अंधेरा दूर कर देता है।
The gods made Agni Vaiśvānara a banner for the days for the whole world. He spreads out the shining Dawns and, moving, wraps away darkness with his flame.
The divine powers establish the universal Fire (Vaiśvānara) in the embodied world as the conscious sign and leader of the inner days—our successive awakenings. This Fire extends the illumined movements of consciousness (Uṣas as inner dawns) and veils/removes the subconscient obscurity (tamas) by the force of its flame (arciṣ), i.e., by the radiant will and discerning heat that converts inertia into clarity.
When the inner will to truth is kindled universally, illumination naturally unfolds in stages, and ignorance is dispelled not by suppression but by steady radiant movement of consciousness.
light overcoming darkness, universal Agni, dawn expansion
The anonymity fits RV 10’s often universal, contemplative voice: the mantra speaks from a broad yogic seeing where the ‘gods’ are inner powers establishing the universal Fire as the sign of awakening for all worlds.
Universal fire-principle that orders the days, evokes dawns, and dispels darkness; mediator between worlds.
Kindles aspiration and right action; spreads illumination; purifies obscurity by steady luminous force.
Vaiśvānara/Agni praise within Soma-yajña and Agni-centered recitations (general RV usage rather than a single fixed prayoga)

4 pādas × ~11 syllables (triṣṭubh norm; exact count may vary by resolution/sandhi)
Forward-driving, declarative cadence suited to cosmic statement and inner command.
Builds a sense of advancing light: the rhythm ‘moves’ like Agni, supporting concentration and energizing aspiration.
Vaiśvānara is central in household and universal fire symbolism; applicable to fire establishment and dawn-linked recitations
Agni invocation/praise sections; also suitable for dawn-oriented recitation
Kindling/maintaining fire; offering (āhuti) with remembrance of Agni as universal leader
Morning practice: light a lamp/candle as a symbol of inner will; recite to invoke clarity and remove mental heaviness.
vaiśvānara: from viśva ‘all’ + nara ‘man/person’ (or ‘belonging to all men’), a cosmic fire present in all. ketu ‘banner/sign’ indicates perceptible mark of light (often solar/fire). √tan (tatāna) ‘stretch’ is a common cosmogonic verb. ūrṇoti (from √vṛ/ūrṇu) ‘cover’—paradoxically ‘covering darkness’ with light, i.e., replacing obscurity by luminous envelope.
universal fire (Vaiśvānara), cycles of illumination (ahnām, uṣas), replacement of ignorance by light
Agni as ‘banner of the days’ signifies the ordered unfolding of consciousness according to ṛta.
Dawns are satya’s progressive unveilings; darkness is the denial/covering of truth.
Establishing the universal fire in the worlds; emergence of light from obscurity in ordered stages.
Proto-Vedāntic / Integral-yogic reading (Aurobindo/Kashyap): evolution of consciousness through Agni and Uṣas.
Dawn
The daily dawn mirrors repeated inner awakenings where aspiration (Agni) draws down illumination (Uṣas) and clears subconscient inertia (tamas) through radiant practice.
Kindle the inner fire as will-to-truth; visualize dawn-like wideness spreading through the mind.
Manipura (fire/will) with ascent toward Ajna (illumined seeing)
Slow, steady nāḍī-śodhana or equal breathing (sama-vṛtti) while contemplating ‘arciṣ’ as inner radiance
From tamasic heaviness to sattvic clarity and luminous dynamism.
Begin in stillness; invoke Agni at the navel/heart as a steady flame; on each exhale offer fatigue/obscurity; on each inhale receive ‘dawn’—a widening clarity.
Mixed udatta/anudatta/svarita per RV śākhā tradition; key lifts often on deity-words (agniṃ, vaiśvānaram) and action-verbs (akṛṇvan, ūrṇoti).
Keep clear rise on udatta syllables; avoid flattening compound accents in vaiśvānaraṃ and vibhātīḥ.
vaiśvānaraṃ: pronounce ‘śvā’ with clear long ā; retroflex ‘ṇ’ is dental here? (nara—dental n); keep anusvāra before ‘k/ṭ/p’ as homorganic where applicable, ūrṇoti: long ū; ‘ṇ’ retroflex; do not drop the ṇ, arciṣā: ‘ṛ’ is vocalic r; ‘ṣ’ retroflex sibilant, uṣasaḥ: ‘ṣ’ retroflex; final visarga as soft aspiration before pause
Bright, steady, slightly ascending tone to mirror ‘dawn’ and ‘banner’.
