Sukta 10.87
तदग्ने चक्षुः प्रति धेहि रेभे शफारुजं येन पश्यसि यातुधानम् । अथर्ववज्ज्योतिषा दैव्येन सत्यं धूर्वन्तमचितं न्योष ॥
tád agne cákṣuḥ práti dhehi rebhé śaphā́rujaṃ yéna páśyasi yātudhā́nam | atharvávaj jyótiṣā daívyena satyáṃ dhū́rvantam acítaṃ nyòṣa ||
अग्नि, हमें वो नज़र दे जो बुरी चीज़ों को तोड़ सके। जिस से तू यातुधन को देख सकता है। फिर देवता जैसी रोशनी ले के उस झूठी चीज़ को गिरा दे जो सच को मारता है। वो इंसान जो सच को नहीं जानता, उसको दूर कर दे।
