Sukta 10.68
सोषामविन्दत्स स्वः सो अग्निं सो अर्केण वि बबाधे तमांसि । बृहस्पतिर्गोवपुषो वलस्य निर्मज्जानं न पर्वणो जभार ॥
sóṣām avindat sá svàr sá agníṃ sá arkéṇa ví babādhe támāṃsi | bṛ́haspátir gó-vapuṣo valásya nír-majjānaṃ ná párvaṇo jabhāra ||
बृहस्पति ने सुबह की रोशनी ढूँढ ली, आसमान ढूँढ ली, और अग्नि भी पास कर लिया। अपने ज्ञान के साथ उसने अंधेरा तोड़ दिया। उसने वल नाम के राक्षस से, जिसके पास बहुत सारी गायें थीं, सब कुछ छीन लिया जैसे किसी हड्डी से मज्जा निकालते हैं।
