Sukta 10.168
आत्मा देवानां भुवनस्य गर्भो यथावशं चरति देव एषः । घोषा इदस्य शृण्विरे न रूपं तस्मै वाताय हविषा विधेम ॥
ātmā́ devā́nāṁ bhúvanasya gárbho yáthāvaśaṁ carati devá eṣáḥ | ghóṣā íd asya śṛṇvire ná rū́paṁ tásmai vā́tāya havíṣā vidhema ||
यह हवा सब देवताओं की जान है, और पूरी दुनिया इसमें बसी है। यह देवता जैसे चाहता है वैसे चलता है। इसकी आवाज़ तो सुनाई देती है, लेकिन देखता कोई नहीं। इस वात देवता को हम अपना ऑफरिंग देंगे।
