Sukta 10.105
शतं वा यदसुर्य प्रति त्वा सुमित्र इत्थास्तौद्दुर्मित्र इत्थास्तौत् । आवो यद्दस्युहत्ये कुत्सपुत्रं प्रावो यद्दस्युहत्ये कुत्सवत्सम् ॥
śatáṃ vā yád asurya práti tvā sumitrás ítthā́staut durmitrás ítthā́staut | ā́vo yád dasyu-hátye kutsa-putráṃ prá́vo yád dasyu-hátye kutsa-vatsám ||
जब भी लड़ाई होती है, लोग तुम्हे याद करते हैं। कोई सौ बार भी पुकारे, कोई अच्छा दोस्त हो या बुरा, तुम सुन लेता है। दुश्मन को मारने के वक्त तुमने कुत्सपुत्र को बचाया। उसी तरह कुत्सवत्स को भी तुमने दुश्मन के हाथ से निकाला।
