Sukta 1.62
गृणानो अङ्गिरोभिर्दस्म वि वरुषसा सूर्येण गोभिरन्धः । वि भूम्या अप्रथय इन्द्र सानु दिवो रज उपरमस्तभायः ॥
gṛṇā́nō áṅgirobhir dasma ví vō var uṣásā sū́ryeṇa góbhir ándhaḥ | ví bhū́myā aprathaya indra sā́nu divó rája úparam astabhāyaḥ ||
इंद्र अंगिरस रिशियों के साथ गाना गा रहा था। वो अंधेरा दूर कर दिया, सुबह की रोशनी से, सूरज से, और रोशनी वाली गायों से। उसने धरती से पहाड़ की चोटी को फैला दिया। आसमान का हिस्सा ऊपर से पक्का कर दिया।
