Sukta 1.61
अस्येदु त्वेषसा रन्त सिन्धवः परि यद्वज्रेण सीमयच्छत् । ईशानकृद्दाशुषे दशस्यन्तुर्वीतये गाधं तुर्वणिः कः ॥
asyédu tveṣásā ranta síndhavaḥ párí yád vájreṇa sī́m ayácchat | īśāna-kṛ́d dāśúṣe daśasyán turvītáye gā́dhaṃ turváṇiḥ káḥ ||
इंद्र की ताकत से नदियाँ खुश होके बहने लगीं। उसने अपनी वज्र से उनका रास्ता बनाया। वो राजा बनके देने वाले को सही पूजा देता है। वो आगे बढ़ने के लिए सेफ रास्ता बनाता है। यह सब इंद्र ही करता है।
