Sukta 1.58
होतारं सप्त जुह्वो यजिष्ठं यं वाघतो वृणते अध्वरेषु । अग्निं विश्वेषामरतिं वसूनां सपर्यामि प्रयसा यामि रत्नम् ॥
hótāraṃ saptá juhvò yájiṣṭhaṃ yáṃ vāgháto vṛṇáte adhvaréṣu | agníṃ víśveṣām aratíṃ vasū́nāṃ saparyā́mi práyasā yā́mi rátnaṃ ||
अग्नि पूजा का पंडित है, यज्ञ के लिए सबसे सही है। जो लोग मेहनत करते हैं वो उसे चुनते हैं। सात चम्मच से हवन करते हैं। यह कभी थकता नहीं, कभी फेल नहीं होता। मैं उसे अपनी भेंट से पूजा करता हूँ। मैं उसी के पास जाता हूँ खजाने के लिए।
