Sukta 1.51
अनुव्रताय रन्धयन्नपव्रतानाभूभिरिन्द्रः श्नथयन्ननाभुवः । वृद्धस्य चिद्वर्धतो द्यामिनक्षतः स्तवानो वम्रो वि जघान संदिहः ॥
anu-vratāya randhayann apa-vratān ābhūbhir indraḥ śnathayann anābhuvaḥ | vṛddhasya cid vardhato dyām inakṣataḥ stavāno vamro vi jaghāna sam-dihaḥ ||
जो धरम फॉलो करते हैं उन्हें साथ ले ले, जो नहीं मानते उन्हें रोक दे। इंद्र अपनी ताकत से काम नहीं करने वाले लोगों को तोड़ देता है। वो इतना बड़ा हो गया कि आसमान तक पोहंच गया। लोग उसकी तारीफ करते हैं और वो रास्ते में आने वाले सब बंधन तोड़ देता है।
