Transliteration

mitraṃ vayaṃ havāmahe varuṇaṃ somapītaye | jajñānā pūtadakṣasā ||

Translation

हम मित्र और वरुण को बुला रहे हैं। इन्हे सोम पीने के लिए बुला रहे हैं। यह दोनों शक्ति के रूप में जागे हैं। इनका दिमाग साफ है और यह सही काम करते हैं। यह हमारे अंदर सही ढंग पैदा करते हैं।
