Sukta 1.189
वि घ त्वावाँ ऋतजात यंसद्गृणानो अग्ने तन्वे वरूथम् । विश्वाद्रिरिक्षोरुत वा निनित्सोरभिह्रुतामसि हि देव विष्पट् ॥
ví gha tvā́vān ṛtajāta yaṃsád gṛṇāná agne tanvé varū́tham | víśvād ririkṣór utá vā ninitsór abhí-hrutām ási hí deva víṣpaṭ ||
जिस इंसान के अंदर अग्नि भरा होता है, वो अपने लिए बड़ी हिफाजत पा लेता है। यह अग्नि सच से पैदा हुआ है। अग्नि, तू हर तरह के खतरे से बचाता है, चाहे कोई सामने से मारे या छुपके से। तू भगवान है, घर का मालिक है।
