द्यौर्मे पिता जनिता नाभिरत्र बन्धुर्मे माता पृथिवी महीयम् । उत्तानयोश्चम्वोर्योनिरन्तरत्रा पिता दुहितुर्गर्भमाधात् ॥
dyáur me pitā́ janitā́ nā́bhir átra bándhur me mātā́ pṛthivī́ mahī́yám | uttānayóś camvòr yónir antár atrā pitā́ duhítur gárbham ā́dhāt ||
आकाश मेरा बाप है, वो जन्नेवाला है। यह नाभि केंद्र है। धरती मेरी माँ है, बड़ी और अपनी है। दोनों के बीच एक गर्भ है जैसे दो कटोरे फैल के हैं। बाप ने बेटी में गर्भ डाला। ऐसे ही दुनिया का राज़ बना है।
