जगता सिन्धुं दिव्यस्तभायद्रथंतरे सूर्यं पर्यपश्यत् । गायत्रस्य समिधस्तिस्र आहुस्ततो मह्ना प्र रिरिचे महित्वा ॥
Transliteration
jágatā síndhuṃ divyá astabhāyad rathantaré sū́ryaṃ páry apaśyat | gāyatrásya samídhas tisrá āhuḥ táto mahnā́ prá ririce mahitvā́ ||
Translation
गति से उसने आसमान की नदी को पकड़ा रखा। रथंतर में उसने सूरज को देखा जो चारों तरफ था। लोग कहते हैं गायत्री में तीन जलाईं हैं। उसी से वो बड़ा हो के और भी फैल गया।
