Sukta 1.164
पञ्चपादं पितरं द्वादशाकृतिं दिव आहुः परे अर्धे पुरीषिणम् । अथेमे अन्य उपरे विचक्षणं सप्तचक्रे षळर आहुरर्पितम् ॥
páñcapādaṁ pitáraṁ dvādaśā́kṛtiṁ divá āhuḥ páre árdhe purīṣíṇam | áthemē anyá úpare vicakṣáṇaṁ saptácakre ṣáḷara āhur árpitam ||
लोग आसमान के बाप को पाँच पाँव वाला और बारह रूप वाला कहते हैं। वो दूर वाले हिस्से में पूरा है। दूसरे लोग उससे ऊपर वाले को साफ देखनेवाला कहते हैं। वो सात चक्के और छ पाँव में जम गया है।
