यदक्रन्दः प्रथमं जायमान उद्यन्त्समुद्रादुत वा पुरीषात् । श्येनस्य पक्षा हरिणस्य बाहू उपस्तुत्यं महि जातं ते अर्वन् ॥
yád ákrandaḥ prathamáṃ jā́yamāna udyán samudrā́d utá vā purī́ṣāt | śyénasya pakṣā́ hariṇásya bāhū́ upa-stutyáṃ máhi jātáṃ te arván ||
जब यह घोड़ा पहली बार पैदा हुआ, उसने ज़ोर से आवाज़ निकाली। वो समुंदर से या ज़मीन से निकला था। उसके पंख बाज़ जैसे थे और बाज़ू हिरन जैसी। यह एक बड़ी चीज़ थी, घोड़े की पैदाइश में।
