Sukta 1.141
अस्ताव्यग्निः शिमीवद्भिरर्कैः साम्राज्याय प्रतरं दधानः । अमी च ये मघवानो वयं च मिहं न सूरो अति निष्टतन्युः ॥
ástāvy agníḥ śimī́vadbhir arkáiḥ sā́mrājyāya prá-taraṃ dádhānaḥ | amī́ ca yé maghávāno vayáṃ ca míhaṃ ná sū́ro áti níṣṭatanyuḥ ||
अग्नि को हमने ज़ोर से स्तुति की है, ताकि वो बड़ा राज पाए। जो लोग देता हैं और हम भी, हम सब आगे बढ़ जाएँ। जैसे सूरज धुंध के पार निकल जाता है, वैसे हम भी रुकावटों के पार चले जाएँ।
