वृषन्निन्द्र वृषपाणास इन्दव इमे सुता अद्रिषुतास उद्भिदस्तुभ्यं सुतास उद्भिदः । ते त्वा मन्दन्तु दावने महे चित्राय राधसे । गीर्भिर्गिर्वाहः स्तवमान आ गहि सुमृळीको न आ गहि ॥
vṛ́ṣann indra vṛṣa-pā́ṇāsa índava imé sutā́ ádri-sutāsa udbhídaḥ túbhyaṃ sutā́sa udbhídaḥ | té tvā mandantu dā́vane mahé citrā́ya rā́dhase | gī́rbhir girvāhaḥ stávamāna ā́ gahi su-mṛḷī́ko na ā́ gahi ||
हे इंद्र, यह सोम रस तुम्हारे लिए तैयार है। पत्थर से निचोड़ा गया है, ऊपर तक पहुंचता है। यह तुम्हे खुश करे, बड़ा देनेवाला है। हम गाते हैं, तुम सुनो और हमारे पास आओ। अच्छे से आओ।
