Sukta 1.114
अवोचाम नमो अस्मा अवस्यवः शृणोतु नो हवं रुद्रो मरुत्वान् । तन्नो मित्रो वरुणो मामहन्तामदितिः सिन्धुः पृथिवी उत द्यौः ॥
avócāma námo asmā avasyávaḥ śṛṇótu no hávaṃ rudró marútvān | tán no mitró váruṇo māmahantām áditiḥ síndhuḥ pṛthivī́ utá dyáuḥ ||
हमने रुद्र को नमन किया है और उनसे सुरक्षा मांगी है। रुद्र और मरुत देवता हमारी पूजा सुन लें। मित्र और वरुण देवता हमारी बात को बड़ा करें। अदिति, नदी, धरती और आसमान सब हमारे साथ हों।
