FAQs

Dharma is sustained through righteous lineages and truthful remembrance of ancestral traditions; the verse frames sacred genealogy as meaningful, not merely biographical.

The story introduces Ṛśyaśṛṅga by placing him within a revered sage-line (Kāśyapa → Vibhaṇḍaka → Ṛśyaśṛṅga).

The implied virtue is Ṛśyaśṛṅga’s destined spiritual stature—his fame arises from ascetic merit and recognized sanctity.
