idaṃ dhanur-varaṃ brahman janakair abhipūjitam |

rājabhiś ca mahāvīryaiḥ aśaktaiḥ pūrituṃ purā ||8||

Translation

ब्राह्मन, यह धनुष बहुत खास है। जनक लोग इसकी पूजा करते थे। बड़े-बड़े राजा भी इसको उठा नहीं पाए, स्ट्रिंग करने का तो सवाल ही नहीं।
